Black Willow Soaps are made with a melt and pour base. While I cannot choose what ingredients are used in the base, I can choose the base that has the right ingredients.

The soap bases that I use have been chosen because they have no harsh chemicals. They allow me to add natural exfoliants that can be suspended in the bar to ensure that the entire bar can be used to exfoliate. I choose them based on the benefits of the oils and ingredients that are already placed in the soap base before I add to it. Also, my soap bases create a smooth and soft, but firm soap that is unlike any cold or hot process soap that I have seen on the market.

Each soap bar may start with a similar base, but each bar has its own additional ingredients and benefits

My salves are prepared in small batches and poured directly from the double boiler that they are prepared in to individual 2 ounce aluminum tins to avoid any contaminants and to ensure quality. My salves do not contain any preservatives, dyes, or unnatural ingredients.

Each salve is made with organic ingredients, 100% pure therapeutic grade essential oils and hand-infused herbal oils from plants, trees, and flowers that I harvest. Each oil infusion takes 4 - 6 weeks to completely absorb all of the healing properties in the selected plants.
